It took 12 years to build this exquisite Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi. This mosque epitomizes Mamluk, Ottoman, and Fatimid architectural styles. Not only the structure of the building instead the lightning is also breathtaking. The lighting system present in the mosque reflects the lunar phases that aim to project colors on the mosque’s exterior. These colors change every night depending on the moon. However, the interior has innovative designs, and every doorway is arched with geometric shapes.
Minarets
The mosque has four minarets, each of which has three different geometrical shapes. They are square, octagonal, and cylindrical, each depicting a different era’s style.
The archways of the mosque are Moron. However, the minarets depict classical Arab taste.

The main prayer areas in the mosque have the world’s largest and most beautiful hand-knitted carpet. It depicts Islamic medallion designs, which Dr. Ali Khaliqi makes. He is a third-generation carpet maker and artist as well. About 12000 artists worked on this magnificent carpet, which now lies in the prayer hall.

The Mosque is excellent. You enter through a small shopping mall with an entrance next to it, then walk underground to the mosque. It is best to book a ticket online ahead of time; there are free tours every hour (except Friday prayer times) that are well worth doing because you get to go inside. There are only a few viewpoints where you can go if you visit yourself. The structure itself is breathtaking and a must-see.

This trip was organized by Saifco Travels and Tours. Wow!!! An incredible structure. Words cannot express how incredible it is. A visit is a necessity if you are in Abu Dhabi. One of the most magnificent structures I’ve ever seen.Such care and attention to detail. It was incredible. Despite the big crowds, the tour was well-organized.

The location is beautiful, outstanding, and awesome. Wonderful chandeliers and white marbles with a one-of-a-kind pattern. It would have just been a photo shoot in the mosque without Shamar, but it was a true cultural experience. I’m a Christian, but as she guided me through the tour, I developed a newfound appreciation and affection for the mosque’s history and significance.

Between 1996 and 2007, the Grand Mosque was built. The building complex spans more than 12 hectares (30 acres) and measures around 290 by 420 m (950 by 1,380 ft.). It is one of Abu Dhabi’s masterpieces. The building depicts authentic Islamic history and is influenced by the architecture of the true Muslim emperor.

The Mosque is a breathtakingly gorgeous structure. The structure and gardens are breathtaking. There are various photo places set up so you may get fantastic shots of this magnificent Mosque. Plan on spending about an hour. The staff of the mosque gives tours. It’s breathtaking. Flowers inlaid with mother of pearl, beautiful archways and walkways, a colorful chandelier, and the world’s largest prayer rug.

For many years, I had been looking forward to seeing Sheikh Zayed Mosque. Finally, in December 2019, we paid a visit. The architecture, design, interiors, chandeliers, and mood were all exquisite. Try to arrive around 5:30 to take advantage of the lighting. It is a true historical monument. The marbles and chandeliers will astound you.

The mosque’s admission is free. There are various clothing limitations. Men must wear full trouser suits, while women must wear an abaya (overall) and cover their hair. It is forbidden to take pictures while sitting or to display any hand signs. A child member of our family received special attention and conversation. When visiting the UAE, I will surely recommend that colleagues see the Grand Mosque.

This Mosque is stunning! From Dubai, we took a half-day nighttime tour of the mosque. Abbas, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the mosque and the culture of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The mosque is very stunning in terms of architecture and details such as chandeliers, carpets, and wall designs. There are so many lovely touches. Definitely worth a visit.

A stunning and beautiful architectural and philosophical jewel. Everything is simple for the tourist – cab drop-off, admission, and free robes for women. We arrived around 4 p.m., just as the sun was setting. Even if you’ve been to other mosques, this one is a must-see. When we went there, the sunlight was unpredictably wonderful.

This is the largest mosque in the UAE… It can accommodate 10,000 worshippers in the main prayer hall. Expect to encounter a swarm of tourists if you do not arrive early. Everywhere there is security. To assist, guide, and educate you on these tranquil settings. This is an opulent and gorgeous location. It is also complementary. Arrive early to avoid the throng. This excursion is highly recommended.

The mosque is a work of art, from the writing on the walls to the complex designs on the carpets. I really loved how pleasant and helpful the staff was in answering any queries I had. I was also impressed by the attention to detail and the cleanliness of the mosque. It’s clear that the staff take great pride in maintaining this incredible structure.
