Exactly what you’d expect! Perfectly organised with a 4:15am pick up, drive out, balloon nearly ready for flight, and a good hour in the air with a lovely captain ijaaz who talked us through the sites. We even got to see a lion (no joke!). Plenty of Oryx, Gazelle, and lovely Arabian…

The pickup from the hotel went smoothly, and our driver was very friendly and looked after us the entire trip. Chayan, the organiser, even sent us pictures of the hot air balloon taking off. The desert sunrise is stunning, but the hot air balloon was nearly full, forcing us to share space with others.Anyway, the trip is overall a lot of fun, and it’s an experience I’ll never forget!
